Ecom Connector strictly adheres to Google’s API policies, including:

  • Minimal data access: We only request the permissions required for specific functionalities.
  • Google Sheets Scope (spreadsheets):
    • Our application requires access to any spreadsheets specified by the user.
    • This is necessary to automate data processing, generate reports, update existing spreadsheets, and apply formulas.
    • Unlike drive.file, which requires manual file selection each time, spreadsheets allows seamless automation without additional user actions.
  • OAuth Security Standards: We use OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication and limit access to user data.
